Nathan Wilson is the solo, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist behind Microplanet.

Originally from Cleveland, OH they began developing their talents in the Chicago music scene. The musician made their first release in 2013, the Alien Savior EP. Usually a supporting piece in other bands, or doing mixes and recording others, they abandoned recording studio dreams to embark on a completely solo project. The first release of new material came in October 2020 as the Three Leaf Clover EP.

Since then, the artist has released another EP entitled Outer Takes and two new songs, 'Auto-Drift' and ‘Painsucker’ — the lead singles for their debut full-length release Submerge.
